At my school we do this thing where each tutor has someone who represents it in student council. I applied and have been at every single meeting this year apart from like 1 and the other person in my tutor has been at only a handful and has been doing it for 3 years at this point and applied late for this year, and still she fucking got it. I cannot remember the last time she was at a meeting and the teacher that picks it was like "Oh if we need any help, you'll be the top of the list" I don't want to be the first helper, I want to be at all the meetings and help improve the school not have someone who's never there be picked over me. I know this is stupid and other people have bigger problems, but she has to be doing something to be picked for three years, going on four years, in a row. She's probably been picked because she's always doing sports shit for the school and most house activities are somehow sports related
