How We Moderate
RantRam is a place for anonymous venting. Vent about whatever you need to, but respect others while you do it. Moderation is transparent, fair, and driven by user reports.
Review Process
All reported content is reviewed by our moderation team within 24-48 hours. We prioritize reports based on severity and community impact.

Do's
- ✓Be respectful of others
- ✓Share your own experiences and thoughts
- ✓Keep it anonymous. No personal identifiers
- ✓Use the security check to prevent spam

Don'ts
- ✗No personal attacks, harassment, or bullying
- ✗No spam, promotional content, or links
- ✗No sharing personal information (yours or others')
- ✗No harmful, illegal, or dangerous content
- ✗No hate speech, discrimination, or bigotry
What Happens When Content Is Reported?
- Report Submitted: When you report content, our system records the report and the reason provided.
- Review Process: Our moderation team reviews the reported content within 24-48 hours, considering the context and community guidelines.
- Action Taken: If content violates guidelines, we may:
- Remove the content
- Block the IP address (for severe or repeated violations)
- No Action: If content doesn't violate guidelines, it remains on the platform. We understand that when you vent to someone, it can be emotional and raw.
Note:We are not able to notify users when their content is reported or removed, as we don't collect any identifying information to maintain anonymity.
Security & Spam Protection
We use multiple layers of protection to keep spam and abuse out:
Automated Protection
- • Math challenge (CAPTCHA-like) to prevent bots
- • Honeypot fields to catch automated spam
- • Link detection and filtering
- • Spam pattern recognition
- • Rate limiting per IP address
Community Moderation
