Just had a close relative pass. And when I told my partner when the visitations and funeral would be and that I am going to stay with the family member planning everything for 3 days. A extra day after to make sure the house is cleaned up after having visitors. Their response was well ‘ this is going to suck for me’….cause they are not able to go due to work which I understand and I’ll have the kids with me so they’ll be home alone and having to fend for themself. Am I wrong for feeling hurt that the initial thought of my partner was about how things would affect them?
