I'm a non-binary lesbian, and almost everyone I know is homophobic. Both of my two brothers, my parents, basically my entire family. I hate that I have to pretend to find their "jokes" funny. If I came out, my parents would probably either think I'm joking or get really pissed off. I find it disgusting that I feel safer talking to my online friends than the people I've literally known my entire life.
