Oh and continued from the post just below. My mom also supports Trump (she's not MAGA, just voted for him 3 times), but she's not as into it as my dad is. I asked her once why she likes Trump, and she said it's because "he has Christian values" (she only goes to church for holidays, lol)... the irony. She has this weird aversion to ANYTHING supporting trans or LGBT people, and I honestly cannot think of any other good reason she'd think Democrats as a whole are bad. It's just black and white thinking because they supposedly have some agenda. Okay, my main point... I always feel stupid around these people. Like I will never pick the 'right' candidate. I lean Democrat because I think things like free healthcare and social rights matter, and it helps that I think the current Republican president is unfit for office. But I'd be so scared if they ever found out I didn't vote for him. I don't want to please them... I just want to not prove that I am stupid or get in any sort of trouble.
