I hate having a drunk as a family member. Not only can you not talk to them or hardly get them to understand or listen to reason they'll just mock you and rage. Today alone I've had to pick up their cigarette (lit) that they dropped on their pajamas going unconscious and put it out. AND The idiocy of it all they abuse their meds and think that somehow by this bullshit that they won't remember and won't listen to anymore that they'll come and ask me for my own once theirs runs out. Unlike them I need it to legitimately function. They simply abuse it. They've been on it too many years to know better that the withdrawals can be deadly stopping cold turkey. Yet the continue to do it and later use another family member to defend them try to get me to give them some of my own!!! A couple months ago I was suffering because of their stupidity like they're doing now and nobody will back me or validate me. Go to fuckin rehab if can't take care of em and wanna keep pulling this shit. I've had it.
