I’ve been single for pretty much forever because I don’t count online dating to be real especially the ones I’ve had so I’ve never actually dated. I asked a coworker out on a date which was a risky move given I’m in a higher power position but the vibes were there and she didn’t want to date due to past problems and also not being over an ex which is very understandable so it was just a hangout. I basically turned it into a date by paying for everything and I had fun and she said she had fun as well but obviously not ready to date so I respected it. I tried to lean into talking about stuff she’s into which is also stuff I’m into and tried every excuse to text her just to talk and get closer but she wasn’t giving back the same energy so I basically quit trying to get her to maybe take interest in me. I’m pretty sure it’s how I look because I’m not attractive compared to her ex and I think she’s super out of my league but I just thought treating someone like a princess would work. Oh wel
