i just remembered this dumb little thing that happened to me. in middle school as we were waiting to go into the locker rooms after gym a girl randomly came up to me and asked “do you like boys?”. like it was weird and i was startled bc it came out of nowhere and i didn’t even know this person and i’m pretty sure i was the only person she asked this to like it felt very targeted lmao. and i was actually figuring out my sexuality but she didn’t have to know that so i just responded with “yes” to not make it any more weird uncomfortable and i think she turned to her friend to talk about it. i still don’t know what to make of it. were people speculating that i was gay? maybe they thought there were gay girls in the locker room so they were trying to sniff out who it was? idk again just kind of weird and i am almost sure it wasn’t done with good intentions but thats middle schoolers man
