My mother chose to take the other person's side even if they're the ones in the wrong. What happened was during a choir song, the lead singer didn't sing in the right key(it was a bit off-tune too), but before that i played the original key we(the singer) both practiced with. So in order to keep the song going, I adjusted the key to another while finding what suits their voice again. Now that they've finished singing, the lead singer approached me and said it was my fault and all kinds of hurtful words. I calmly told my side of the story-I played the original key we practiced but she didn't get it so i changed it until she started singing on a different key altogether. I mean, is it so hard to admit something that's your fault? Like, I did my best adjusting to her but why am I still in the wrong. I told my mother about what happened and surprise surprise! She now also blames me for the whole thing. How lovely.
