I got close to telling my friend what happened, we were sat outside the back of their house and I just... Broke down. I told them everything. Days later, I pulled them aside and begged them not to tell anyone, that I was just having a shitty day, that it didn't mean anything. They forgot. They didn't remember a single thing I said. And I don't think they were lying to make me feel better about it or anything. We've been friends for years-- I can tell when they're lying. I think I got angry. I say that, but I definitely was. They told me it's okay. Not 'I'm sorry' or any form of apology. Just that it's alright. I should be relieved, right? If I -actually- didn't want anyone to find out I should be relieved. I honestly don't know how I feel yet. I do regret telling them, yes. But, I don't feel great they completely forgot either.
