I lived with my mom and older sister in a 3 bedroom so we all got our own rooms. My older brother would visit for the weekend and I would get kicked out because our 2 dogs would sleep in my sisters room and I would have to sleep on the couch. Now my brother moved back in and I was the one who got kicked out of my own room to sleep on a twin (I had a queen) size bed in my office. The reasoning is because he needs a room like I don’t need one. Or they would say he works which I work as well and if I said that they would say “yeah but you only work 6 hours a week” mind you I work in a daycare with kids from newborns to 5 year olds and I am mostly in the 1-2 year olds. If I speak up I get told I am having a attitude or I am yelling so I have learned early in life to be quiet and shut up and take it but I feel like I am not taken seriously in my job or cared as much in my family to the point when I move out after finishing college I might go no contact with my mom and siblings
