My husband just died, we get married overseas where gay marriage is illegal, and he just died before we could sign our marriage papers back here in nz. Anyways his brother is trying everything in his power to become the next of kin so he can claim all of his assets and use the money for drugs, even tho I paid over $10k for the funeral and my husbands family didn’t pay a cent. I’m just so frustrated with them it’s been a week since we buried my husband and I just want to try and heal but my in laws are making this way harder for me. And I know that my husbands brother is making all these false accusations against me and I’m not happy
