My whole life I've been neglected by my parents. I don't remember it being this bad when I was little, but I do remember being hit and constantly yelled at for little things like not wanting to eat a certain food or being to loud, laughing too much, and crying too much. And in 5th grade after my little sister's seizures, my parents decided to blame me, and of course I believed I caused my little sister to get seizures. I WAS TEN YEARS OLD. And after that I started avoiding my sister not wanting to play with her scared I would start another fight and cause a seizure. 2 years later we found out it was just genetic and wasn't my fault. But I was too scared to talk or recreate my bond with my little sister. After me and my older sister reunited, I looked up to her, but she also thought I hated my sister when all I did was avoid her. I started not trusting people in my family, cause no one understood me and isolation became my coping method so i wouldn't have to face getting yelled at.
