My grandma wants me to be a proper woman. This started weeks ago when my dad had bought me bugs because i am getting into pinning bugs and stuff, i sent my grandma a picture of the American painted lady i had done and she said it was nice. After this my dad bought me bugs and had brought them to my grandmas house, Later i overheard my grandma say "Why do you buy these things for her!? dad:"Because shes creative." G-ma:" Why cant she knit or something!"dad: "She does! what about the butterfly she did?!" g-ma: "It was nice but i could have gone my whole life without seeing that!" i felt my face flush, 2 days ago we were eating out with 2 other of my sister when jobs get brought up. My grandma goes "Have you thought about what you want to do after high school? You could do nails or hair!" I obviously said no and stated i wanted to be a mechanic and do taxidermy. She then told me to do something practical and shut down when i said i was going to take a gap year so it would give me a break.
