Does anyone feel like they make a mistake when putting an animal down? I've been feeling like this. I had to put my 16 year old cat down but I keep second guessing if it was the right move. She was throwing up every single day, sometimes two or three times a day. She was pooping in the tub even when the box was clean. Then she clung to me and my partner consistently. When we fed her she wouldn't eat from time to time. But then there would be times where she would eat but then still be hungry. Then she'd sleep for hours on end in selective locations. She had the beginnings of kidney failure and we had her on special food for it. We had done the blood test to see if anything had gone worse but the results were the same with the inclusion of thyroid now showing signs too. The vet thought she may have had cancer in her intestines but we never got it looked upon. Instead, we both made the decision to put her down. But we both have been suffering since then with the "what ifs"...
