I'm realising my ex did alot of weird things to me. For context, I really love cats I've loved them my whole life, and at the time my ex used to write alot of fanfiction for horror movies and I would often beta read for them, one time they really wanted me to read a story were some slasher movie villain graphically kills a cat. I told them mutiple times that I was very uncomfortable with that but they kept pestering me about it, I eventually caved in and read it and I ended up crying infront of them. We were teenagers at the time so I would hope they've changed by now, but I still wonder why they did that.
