over the last couple months, my best friend keeps hanging up on me and forgetting to call me back even tho they said they would. it’s gotten to the point where today they accidentally hung up on me in the middle of a phone call but told me they’d call me back (atp, i’m not sure it was an accident) then after very spotty communication over the course of literally like 6 hours, they called another one of our friends at the drop of a hat. i texted them a little afterwards asking that if they decide they don’t want to talk on the phone that day anymore, to please let me know. they said, for like the fourth time, that they just forgot. we’re long distance, so we don’t see each other in person either. this person is my best friend, and i don’t want to be spiteful or possessive, but i really feel ignored and like they don’t care about me. i don’t mind if they don’t wanna talk, i just wish they’d tell me. doesn’t help that i had an ex who did this all the time, either. i feel silly for this.
