I hate being an artist in this day and age. Even if I don't post my art, if I ever do, it'll probably it fed through ai, stolen, or hated on. Sometimes I'd draw in class (im using past tense because school is out for summer ofc) somtimes and kids would say, "I bet I could do better", "AI could improve this!", " You're drawing cats? Are you a furry/zoophile?!" (My ocs are cats lmao and NO IM NOT A ZOOPHILE I'm also not a furry, theres nothing wrong with being a furry, but I am a therian) or they'd ask me to draw them. Like, please let me draw in peace. And another thing, Whenever someone makes fun of someones art style, like calling it a groomer art style even though it looks really good and normal, breaks my heart because someone worked really hard to make that and its just getting shitted on.
