My father is lowkey verbally abusive. He has some serious lack of temper control. There is no room for even a smallest mistake with him. He will either scream at you or insult you. I mean, what kind of parent threatens their child that they will put them in mental institution over low grades if the said child doesn't fix it? What kind of parent forces their child on a diet and threatens to slap them if they dare eat in secret? And why? over not wanting to go to a neighbor's birthday party. He also loves to insult me behind my back. I once accidentally burned my hand with boiling hot water and he acted all worried, but when I went to the bathroom to cool my hand off, I could hear him call me a "clumsy, useless cow" in the other room. He will buy me something I never asked for, and then when I don't meet his expectations, he will quilt trip me about it. Because of him, I literally start shaking and panicking over spilling coffee. Atleast he never hit me because he "hates abusers'"
