I’m 5 weeks pregnant and unmarried. This pregnancy was not planned but I’m happy and excited. So I just went to my first Doctors appt. They confirmed my pregnancy and told me to come back in 3 weeks in to do an ultrasound and blood work. I went to the appt alone because my S/O couldn’t get off work in time. So I told him about the next appt and that he would need to take off work so he could come. He started asking if he really needs to be there since my mom said he doesn’t have to go to every appt. I told him it will be the very first ultrasound so this one is important. He said he doesn’t want to call off work just to see a blob and with no heart beat. Then he kept asking will we hear a heartbeat. I told him that I didn’t know. Then he proceeds to say that he doesn’t want to go (his exact words)and that he’ll just come for the birth… I can’t even describe how angry and hurt I am. The crazy part is he’s been getting on me about food and not over-exerting myself. I can’t believe him rn
