Always would I question myself on why so much is expected out of a girl in a marriage than the guy. I would expect everything to be fair for the both of them. The girl is expected to live at her husband's place casually & happily while the guy occasionally visits the girl's home & often feels like a guest. She would have had a lot of memories at her home which she should be able to continue creating more. She is expected to stay in her husband's place for all festivals, because thats how it was for him all these years, waking up on a festive day, dressing up and to be with family, while she never gets to wake up at her home with her parents on a festive day. While she is seemingly happy, and offers kindness & love to everybody at her husband's place and to the guests coming in, she also has an ache in her heart that is lingering forever for it to be fair for her as well. She always wakes up with a hope that one day, all's gonna be fair for her, & she would also not miss her family much
