On Facebook yesterday I was reading comments from American parents saying they always tell their kids to be kind to the quiet, weird kids, otherwise those kids would shoot them At first I was overjoyed - we won! We had to resort to violence but at least people will now treat us like human beings. Then I realised how sad it is that people are only being kind to autistic kids (lets be real here) out of fear of being shot. Not because we're human beings who have feelings and haven't done anything deserving of being bullied That and my country has strict gun laws so no one has a reason to be kind to us here. They can yell whatever insult they like at me as I'm walking down the street and I can't do anything about it. They know they're safe to be arseholes here and that is why most British people are so fucking rude
