One of my friends consistently critiques all the things I'm interested in it feels likes I ask about a tv show they're interested in or a book and we talk about it like if I know about it then we discuss favourite characters and stuff like that and if not then I ask them to like explain and ask questions about it cause I'm interested in what they like. However when it comes to my interests I always have to bring it up myself cause they never ask me any questions and then they just hate on what I like such as if I said I liked this show and then they just go "Well I thought it was simple and the characters sucked". I don't mind some critique it just sucks it feels like the convo isn't two way and I have to carry it a lot and then they turn around and be rude.
