i cant..why, only after im 15 do you start telling me ts? ive grown up always thinking my family believed in equality and that women were the same as men, my mom especially was my biggest inspiration. she does so much for the house and has always been so supportive. yet ever since ive turned 15, ive been hearing things. just listen to your brother, he does so much work. and sure it MIGHT be because hes older than me, and does do some work. But, constantly? To my elder sister too? Are you sure you arent putting him on a pedastal because hes a MAN? hellooo??? why is it that im being encouraged and essentially brain washed into thinking that MARRIAGE is the easy way. No? that, once i get married, as a GIRL im to sit back and have my husband do it all. Do you know how concerning that is? That im not financially independent, that i CANT go out, with a MAN by my side. its gross. wdym, when im older, or 18 or an adult I CANT be independent? not until i get married to a man? -part (1)
