(Content Warning: animal death) I love animals, both wild animals and the pets my family owns. It makes me so mad that my mom keeps letting our cat outside despite my repeated pleas not to, out of fear that he might be harmed somehow or harm others. Today, he killed something again. I should have known something was up when I found him waiting to be let in then running off as soon as he saw me. The body was still warm. No blood, no wounds. Just a poor little animal killed for sport. No one else was home, so I took the little fella in a paper towel and held it as I cried. I put it to rest in our garden, fighting back my tears. I hate living with people who don't care about me, and constantly ignore what I tell them. I wish I could afford to move out of my parents house. This shouldn't even have happened. Cats don't belong outside, they're an invasive species and dangerous to native wildlife. I wish everyone who thinks it's okay to let cats free roam outside a very please d*e.
