Trying to make friends at college is such an alienating experience. It’s been four weeks and I don’t really have anybody, like at all. I’m ok acquaintances with the people in my dorm, but that’s the extent of it. The only real friend I’ve got here is one I made in high school, but it really isn’t helping. We talk to each other like we’re colleagues or business partners, not friends. I’ve known her for years now and I could tell you next to nothing about her personally. I really don’t know what to do…
