I feel like anytime I bring up the past I had with a person, it always feels so exhilarating-especially when it involves a person who treated me wrongly. I know people say to not beat a dead horse but it can feel so good to do it anyway, and, although I wouldn’t admit this to my friends It feels like the reason I get so happy and anxious to retell the story is because I desperately want validation that I truly was treated wrong. That if someone else hears about it and sees proof of the persons actions, that their reaffirmation and judgment for the wrong doer is what makes the dead horse worth being killed. Sometimes I worry about those people. Maybe I shouldn’t have cut them off-was it right that I did? Even if I know deep down it was for the best I can’t help but tell it to others in hopes that they’ll tell me I’m right. They’re wrong. I shouldn’t regret my decisions So why do I still rethink about my actions? Whatever; I’ll just gossip to the next person about this
