My mom left our house. she has a boyfriend, and has been spending time at his house, until recently she hasnt slept at our house for weeks. My cat (Mimi) who is such an important part of my life, got hurt and taken to the vet. My mom took her to her boyfriend’s house, however this was over 3 months ago. She refused to give her back, stating that she is not fully healed, but it became apparent that she continued to say that to keep mimis at her boyfriends house.. Which made me panic a littlebit, the last time i saw mimi i tried to take her back, which made my mom and her boyfriend yell at me, i then left mimis with them and left, which was heartbreaking. the other day, i heard through my younger brother (9) that not only had they lost mimi, but they hadnt told me and it has been over a week. I have been in her boyfriend’s neighborhood for hours searching for my cat. i am devastated. i trusted that they wouldve kept her safe if they didnt let me have her.. :(
