Addressing my medical trauma, part 3: Certainly wasn't a reason to be cheerful! But not a reason to be ashamed either, not even at that age, doctors see bums and bits of all ages. Just at the time I thought mine was the only one he ever saw in his career and I remember thinking he's probably going to tell his wife and kids and laugh about it over dinner (bear in mind I was 3, I didn't know about gay or childfree people, I thought it was a requirement aa an adult to marry someone of the opposite sex and have children with them, because I was 3, please don't cancel me) I don't think any adult thought a 3 year old would even think about it after, let alone think about it like that and have it traumatise me to the point where I won't go to the doctors over something potentially serious because the only medical professional allowed near my butt is my boyfriend and he doesn't work in that department, he's on cardiopulmonary. Same applies to other bits I consider "private"
