I am 15 y/o and have had my dog for almost half of my life but just found out that she has an incurable type of blood cancer and we will have to put her down sometime probably in the 3-4 days. I don't know what I am going to do without her, and cant even really remember what life was like without her. I know she is "just a dog" and I could be much worse off but she means the world to me and I love her so much. It almost doesn't feel real to me it all happened so fast. 2 days ago she seemed perfectly fine (full of energy) and the next day she was coughing up blood as the cancer made its way in to her lungs. She also is only 7y/o and I thought i would have much longer. I haven't cried in years before this but now find myself crying nonstop, throughout the day. It hurts to see her get worse and I know the right thing to do is to put her down to end her pain but I want more time with her. I cant sleep, its 2am for me and cant stop thinking about her so i am writing this hoping it will help
