What's a social norm or expectation that you think is completely ridiculous? Well I was once in a certain company. My relative who was obnoxious and in their own world had the audacity to say "they should have been further along by now". That's a bit infuriating because they weren't there were they? I WAS. it was a favoritist place if you weren't the bosses pet you didn't get promoted hardly. They also don't comprehend how extremely toxic that place was. Full of cut throats and bullies. It was bad enough to make you want to be put in a white padded room. So just because someone is not "further along" doesn't mean they're necessarily doing bad in life. In fact one of the lower bosses told me the responsibility what was put on them was enough to cause a nervous breakdown. So don't go judging other people's lives you know nothing about. Of course this was also said behind my back if I recall so.
