Istg if someone calls me racist for complaining about the people setting off fireworks the other night I'm gonna scream. Most people wouldn't have known it was a Muslim household setting them off for a wedding, we all just heard bangs while scrolling through Facebook posts about nearby wildfires. Race or religion makes no difference, a spark is a spark and when it's this dry it can turn into a raging destructive fire. I was genuinely scared, my cats run and hide from fireworks so it would be really difficult to get them out if the house caught fire. Definitely not mentioning anything to my sister about it because she'll definitely call me racist, she's one of those whites. Like the ones who pulled the racist card when people complained about the plan for an ugly Mosque, despite the fact that people also complained about the ugly library and didn't complain about the pretty Mosques (sorry but this city has beautiful architecture and doesn't need a metal polygon ruining it)
