There are people on the left and people on the right who participate in cancel culture. They are just cancelling different people and different things. And there's hypocrisy on both sides. Lots of right wingers complain about cancel culture and then absolutely hound someone who made a mistake or even just someone they don't agree with. Lots of left wingers call out this harassment from the right even though they do it themselves, usually to female celebrities who are also human beings. But also I am a hypocrite because I want to hound the people who bullied me at school until they can't take it anymore and cancel themselves. But then they're not sorry. And lets face it I'm never gonna be brave enough to do it.
