So my friend group plays D&D, and there’s a guy in the group I don’t rlly like who is the Dungeon Master. I’ll call him A. My best friend who I’ll call C and another guy who I’ll call D said they couldn’t come to the next session, and A told them that it was okay. But apparently behind their back, A was pissed off and talking about how he’s going to add a three strike system and that he’s giving C and D each a strike. A doesn’t confront people, so my friend B sent a message from A saying that this was disrespectful behavior when it was ONE cancellation, and he’s being disrespectful by publicly shaming them. I don’t care if he’s worked on this campaign for a year. Treat your players with some damn respect. One missed session doesn’t mean they don’t want to play. Stuff happens. I can’t stand A. I hate seeing him disrespecting C like this, who is just letting it happen. C told me, and I’m so angry. I’d understand A if cancellations happened successfully, but it was ONCE.
