I feel like I put so much effort into the barely hanging on friendships I have, and get none in return. I try to be the one reaching out, keeping conversations alive and all that, and yet no one feels like I myself am worthy of that. Trying to make new friendships is even worse, and I just don't know where to go from here. Sometimes it feels like people want fans more than they want friends, they just want the love and support without having to lift a finger.
