I am married to an ABSOLUTE IDIOT. My husband told me that rent was paid. I asked him if he had sent our landlord the confirmation, he said he had. I thought great. A part of me wanted to see it with my eyes but I thought I was being overly controlling. I get a knock on the door today while I'm working. For context, we've been in financial hell for the last few months and I have managed to dig us out. I got a job online and have saved half of the rent a few days before it's due and pushed back all my bills etc so I can get us back on our feet. THE KNOCK ON THE DOOR IS THE LANDLORD COMING TO EVICT US BECAUSE HE DIDN'T PAY THE RENT. I didn't believe her AT ALL until I saw the paper trail. I was so sure it was a mistake and of course my trust in this absolute fucking idiot is that he hadn't sent it. He'd guaranteed me that he sent confirmation WHEN HE DIDN'T. Mind you we live in a foreign fucking country. HE IS SUCH A FUCKING IDIOT AND WHEN QUESTIONED HE's A SILENT LYING DUMBASS
