How do I cope with the fact I can't come out to my parents? At some point in my life, when I was much younger, my sister would hold outing me over my head so I would do stuff for her. I remember being so stressed, so terrified, so humiliated, I went to come out to my mom myself just to make it stop. But when I tried, she stopped me. She just told me to not say anything. She punished my sister for tormenting me so much, but ever since them, she's never addressed it. And with my opinions, I think some part of her knows I am not really straight. But she's religious and conservative. Religion is her crutch, her coping. It hurts though. She always says, "People shouldn't lie about themselves", unless it's when you're queer. That's how it feels. And it's so draining, to be having a good time with my mom only to remember in the middle of it that "She'll never love you FULLY". And it breaks my heart.
