China's whitening culture pmo so bad. My family once bought a damn SCRUBBER for me to scrub off my slight tan cause apparently I'm not white enough. They talk about it at the dinner table like it's a normal thing. Also I'm pretty sure this is the reason that basically my whole family (extended too) has an excuse or already has looked at my naked body. Off the top of my head, after the age of 12, the people who have either tried or seen are my dad, mom, aunt, other aunt, grandma, grandpa, grandmas sister, great grandma, my other aunt's sister, and uncle. (You see it's getting absurd, right???) It makes me feel like shit I genuinely don't wanna be touched by all of these people. (I should clarify, these are ppl who asked my mom and my mom forced me to let them help me shower) In fact, earlier today my grandma got really angry since I wouldn't let her basically rub my skin raw. This whitening shit is terrible
