My shift rotation are nights and days every two weeks. The guys on my team do things differently on nights, like instead of locking up breakers they just shut them off because it's faster. They all do things differently.. I'd be trained to do one thing and the next a different guy would tell me not to do it that way. I have to inspect the machines I'm using which, we have a checklist for and to actually do it properly takes at least a half hour or more if you have to fix something. Some days I'll have to check 3 machines and do other tasks and they want me to basically be ready within an hour of clocking in, so I'm just getting these checks done as fast as I can, I'm trying to finish on time so that my coworker can have a lunch, but the machines have broken down a few times today, and we had a tight schedule, so no lunch.. I'm genuinely trying..And I'm hard on myself because I want them to see a dramatic improvement but I don't think I'm impressing them all that much.
