Rant #11037

I try so hard to be a part of things. I join communities, I reach out to people. But the older I get, the more it feels like everyone around me is just thinking, "oh, come on, can't you tell by now we don't want you to be here?? Of course we're being nice to you until you leave, but you're still supposed to take the hint." And I just constantly feel like I'm intruding into others spaces by trying to have similar interests.
