Me and my step parents relationship isn’t and hasn’t ever been good. Between them calling me the R word to feeling some kind of way when my parent just HUGS me they’ve always looked down on me. But to get to the main point I’ve always loved cooking so here lately I’ve been cooking I decided to cook pizza for me and my parent. My parent was reading stuff off Instagram and we were just chatting and having a good time. Then my step parents comes out and asks what I’m making. This is something that they’ve always done and it INFURIATES ME they are always nosey and wanting to know what’s going on so I reluctantly tell them that I’m making pizza. They then leave and come back because they were wondering what got me and my parent so lively out in the kitchen. They then sit down and only leave when I’m practically done cooking and my parent is done eating. This annoys me because I feel as though I can’t ever hang out with my parent without them being around. Am I being too much?
