Lost a parent x years ago made me feel numb and also too much. I felt pressure inside of me from a lot of stuff (mostly negative) but was numb to it. I know it was there, but didn't feel the emotion?. Happened 1 week before an important exam. School was understanding; I did fine, but it SUCKED. Years later I have also found out I have 1 genetic error and a benign growth in me that make me easily lose a mineral my body needs; I still feel some numbness. If I laugh or feel sad, it lasts 1-5 sec, and I feel numb again. I can't cry in a way I feel is right either. At the funeral, not 1 tear. If I cry, it's 1-4 tears then I finally cry over something super sad and then back to numb. But mostly I just feel blah and angry, and I HATE IT. It makes me think I'm broken or a loser. :( Had it not been for 3 people, 2 fam and 1 m8 (none of them know it), I would have kms somewhere alone. But I'm better today than back then. p.s Sorry for spelling or grammar mistakes; I'm dyslexic too.
