I think I suffer with body dysmorphia, but I’m not sure. I often find myself staring at my mirror while I’m changing, silently criticizing my own body. I know I should stop, but I can’t. I really hate my broad shoulders. They make me feel like a man. And I’m not. People have bullied me by calling me one or purposely using he/him pronouns for me. It didn’t bother me at the time, but now it’s really getting to me. There are so many other flaws to my body, I just don’t feel like dumping them on here. I just want to stop. It keeps getting worse and worse, and I don’t know what to do about it. This feeling is confusing and undecipherable, and I, again, don’t know what to do. What do I label this? Insecurity? Self-Loathing? Selfishness? Can somebody just tell me what’s wrong with me?
