You know your country is going to shit when people who came here for a better life are seriously considering going back to where they came from because the standard of living there was actually better than it is here now. I grew up believing that our country was one of the best in the world and I was extremely lucky to be born there. I thought if this country is bad, other countries must be a lot worse. I still get thoughts like that. But maybe that was all propaganda to make us shut up and stop complaining.
