I think the main reason I'm so bad at picking up on sarcasm isn't because of my autism. It's because neurotypicals have said the most wild, unhinged shit to me or made the most ridiculous requests, so out there that I thought it must be sarcasm or a joke. But it turned out they were actually being serious. So how am I meant to know when they're joking when they come out with the most ridiculous statements or questions?
