I see a lot of people complaining that some autistic people are creating a divide by critiquing the behaviours of allistic people. We didn't create the divide. Allistics did. You created the divide when you wouldn't let us play with you. When you wouldn't invite us to your parties or sleepovers. When you pushed us over in the playground. When you called us dweebs, gorms, weirdos, nerds, dorks, and a word that was used against us so much that it officially became a slur (which just made you want to call us that more). When you tried to change us to make us be more like you, before giving up and bullying us instead. When you pretended to fancy us and flirted with us and asked us out for a joke. When you threw things at us. When you made fun of people for hanging out with us. When you mocked us and laughed at us. You pushed us away, sometimes literally. Of course we're angry and upset. And no allistics even seem to have any remorse for it.
