i respectfully asked my parents not to record me prior due to preference. then my mum completely dismisses my request and records me anyways. saying oh its memories for the future and ill thank her later. then she calls me weird and strange in a debilitating way for not wanting myself recorded. for context i have very low self esteem and i am very very insecure about how i look (especially my face) but i guess it is my fault for not telling my parents that. they called me weird for not wanting to be recorded. mind you im going through puberty as well lol. so then i asked her to delete it and she refused and my dad chipped in saying how they have a right to be able to record me because im their daughter. respectfully, im allowed to fucking say no???? after that they blamed it on the environment i grew up in and threatened to take away my belongings saying that theyre "making me weird" have you guys considered self esteem issues, puberty and just it generally being a preference???????
