This feels dumb in comparison to the others I've read but basically I asked my boss to pay me and she read my message and didn't respond for almost two hours. I promoted her again, not with another ask but just like '[her name]?' because she's got a brain thing and can be forgetful but she's usually nice. She doesn't respond again for another two hour before suddenly I get back this: 'Seriously? Chill. I have a lot going on right now'. Ow, right in the 'everyone secretly hates me and I'm annoying' insecurity. I apologized twice and gave her an explanation, she left me on read again but she did pay me. I feel shitty. She was probably busy or something but I still feel like shit. I feel like an annoying burden that's never going to have a stable job or a social circle that likes me.
