Usually, if you don't like or are not interested in someone, you would just leave them alone, not concoct a whole fake melodrama (with sequels, no less) about it. It's also not clear why someone who claims to be indifferent is chasing the person they're indifferent to. Like, do you not like them or do you not want to like them?
