Went on a moms trip to Disney one no kids. I had my MIL watch kids while I was gone and dad was at work. All I asked her to do was take care of the kids. And that’s all I ask for. Well her husband took it open himself to put some locks on doors in my laundry that is connected to house by already locked door. I of course already bought the stuff I needed to lock add some locks to them because it’s my house. He went out and put his locks on them. This type of situation often occurs when I only ask for them to watch the kids. And it really frustrates me because I didn’t ask them to do anything else besides watch the kids and take care of the kids I didn’t even ask him to take care of the kids. They are often over helpful and overly giving advice and it’s very frustrating. I’ve communicated many times my frustrations and my boundaries and I don’t feel like they’re respected. They say oh we’re sorry we didn’t know. I have a hard time perceiving if they’re stupid or playing stupid.
